Peterpan thinks I am queer because I like a nice quiche. Odd that.

I mean, I could understand someone with a name like Peterpan, having a possibly anal fixation with a large sub style sandwich, but a quiche? I don't know how on earth one could insert the thing, least not against the flow, so to speak.

The sandwich poll now shows a tie between Dukes, Huntsman, and Subway.

Personally, I think Subway is shit, but opinions vary.

Arrrh crap, I've been talking all night with a mate about a new quality sandwich shop thats just opened in at the base of that building that's going to be the tallest building in Bangkok. Now I can't remember the name of the building or the sandwich shop.

The building is right next to Chongnonsi station and the sandwich shop is a famous grossery store in Greenwich Village in New York.

Mahanakorn is the name of the building. Now I just need the name of the shop.

I was on their blog website earlier and it looks very nice. My mate is working on the Mahanakon project and goes there every day for lunch and says the food is properly up there. I'm gonna try and go Monday.

Out of the 196 residential units how many are sold and what are the sizes? 2 - 5 bedrooms I was told.

The pent houses are gone. I don't like too pry to much but the clientele are flying in from around the world to view them. We've only talked about the quality of the workmen ship which he has said is as high as it gets. We have talked about unit sizes but its always been after a few beers so I can't remember. It's selling well is all I can really say.

Absolutely not! Many of the other posters here are "playing that game" and their posts and opinions are now worthless to me.

Now, other threads here are getting interesting, especially this sentence:

Thailand really needs a good deli-like sandwich shop NY style.

Restaurants compete within niches. Subway is a QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) and caters to a different target group than Dukes. To compare the two is pointless. Diatonic, I suggest that you do not fit the target group for either Sunrise or Subway so why keep trying to compare apples and oranges?

Yes, Subway and Sunrise Tacos are fast food crap........so why do people keep trying to give others the impression that both are great?

Subway is not better than Dukes. Sunrise Tacos is not better than Tacos and Salsa. That is what real food critiques would say (not people who are biased).

So, if you want, construct a poll with only the elite places and leave out the joints that serve a purpose but do not put great food on the plate.

Really, the purpose of the poll was to reach some general agreement on the #1 place for sandwiches (in my view Dukes) and #1 place for Mexican food (in my view Tacos and Salsa).

Unfortunately, the Mexican poll was fixed and unless you ignore the votes for Sunrise Tacos, serves no purpose now.

The sandwich poll does not yet appear to be fixed by the same group of posters......guess they gave it a rest after I caught one of them "cheating."
