The Genesis bar at the end of Sukhumvit soi 11 is a top little bar to go to before heading to Q or Bed Supper Club that are just across the way.

Nice one! Not been there yet, but someone mentioned a "Pig and Whistle" just off Sukhumvit? Perhaps that needs adding to the list?

I was doing some work taking advantage of the free wifi and 80 baht pints in the duke on silom last month and the bloke next to me had the same computer so we got talking, turns out he owns (manages?) the pub as well as the big mango.

The woman that I share with is a restaurant consultant for Gaysorn Plaza and she gets invited to just about every promotion and magazine and product launches that are held.

I have been to some very swanky places either with her of just with her invite.

Everything free.

Kind of, but most people call them both The Witches Tavern.

It's the Witches Tavern (on Thonglor) and the Witches Oyster Bar & Restaurant (on Soi Ruamrudee).
