    Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant

Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant is located in Nichada Thani (Changwattana area) a minute or two away from the International School Bangkok. They have quite a selection of food besides their Mexican cuisine including pizza, corn dogs, spicy wings, Wagyu steaks, fish and chips, meatball subs etc.

Mrs. Chi decided to get an appetizer and ordered up some chili cheese fries. They were ok, but we left about 50% on the plate because the free chips and our main dishes filled us up.

It is neat and clean and every time I go there it seems the service is western style - easy to get refills and they always keep checking on you to see if you need anything. The waitresses spoke English as well.

You can also eat outside and the kids enjoy the playground / jungle gym that they have.

Mrs. Chi also got a burrito, but I can't seem to find the pic.

I will try and hunt it down.

The bill was about 500 baht.

I ate there once and the food was average at best. I think it was a chimichanga that I had. Don't plan on going back.

BBQ sandwich king is nearby and I always eat there when in the area, great food!

I have been eating there on and off for the past couple years. Some things are good and some average. Once is not enough to find out. I ate at the same diner almost every day in Chicago from the time I was a toddler until just before I moved to Thailand and my experiences varied throughout the years. But overall a great place to eat.

Different strokes for different folks. I know a few guys that won't set foot in either place. Some people are just whingers no matter what.

Absolutely right, but, when your first experience is not very good there is very little motivation to return. That is why consistency is so important, yet few seem to achieve it.

Good thread Chi. I will try this place on my next BKK visit. I think there is excellent Mexican food and average, however, there is no bad Mexican Food IMO. I live in Korat area so the Big Chilli is where I eat a lot. Great food.
