  | Sin - Sukhumvit Soi 4 (Bangkok) Well, thanks to Mr Stickman I had the chance to go to Sin on Soi 4 with a 500 Baht food voucher. The roof restaurant is very pleasant. The evening breeze cooled things down nicely. This place would be a nice place to meet up with friends for a few drinkies or dinner.  Some may view the location as good, but it's not that pleasant negotiating a footpath filled with ThaiVisa members and their hired girlfriends/boyfriends. Once you get to Sin, you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs. There is a pool hall on one side of the 1st floor (the ground floor is occupied by a couple of bars) and a club on the other. The pool hall was fairly busy, but I guess it's either too early for the club to have been open or they don't use it anymore. Up to the 2nd floor roof and there are some more pool tables as you walk into the restaurant.   I'm not sure how busy it is normally, but we were the only customers eating and there was only one other chap in there besides us.   Onto the food. The menu was pretty good and included many different types of food. I chose the blue lipped mussels for starters and Gow had what tasted like KFC. The mussels actually tasted like tuna.   For the main course I had chicken and pea paella and GoW had chicken in a spicy tomato sauce with french fries and corn on the cob.  I'm not sure why I chose this as I'm pretty sick of rice, but it tasted ok and I was very full afterwards.  GoW said hers was 'ok'. I think she od'd on chicken though, but there's no telling them, is there? This place is mid range for price. The deco is excellent but the food is mediocre. The total for the food plus 3 cokes and a bottle of water came to 865 Baht, but thanks to Sticky's coupon I only had to pay 365 Baht, which then made it about what it was worth IMO.
