| I saw a guy with a lady at the bars outside and thought that guy looked like BH, but he couldn't be him because he lives up there in the North in the middle of nowhere, and Nana would definitely not be his kind of place. Last edited by Butterfly : 14-07-2007 at 07:59 PM. |

| Chiang Mai Update: After a short night out with the CM boys (they were all cuddling with their mia nois after midnight), I decided to investigate the local extreme night life. It was midnight and most bars hadn't much happening in terms of actions. Walking around half drunk (3 beers), I found a dark alley with loud music at the end. After fighting my way through a small horde of ladyboys (not good looking I might add), I found a big square where locals were entertaining a Muay Thai ring to a small audience (mostly drunk farang couples). Looking around the bars, I don't see much happening, dead everywhere. This is when I notice a small bar hidden behind the ring, with some interesting house music, so I decide to take a closer look. Well, what a surprise. A small Ladyboy bar, with a few interesting "girls", all apparently uncut. Anyway, ordering a drink and watching the fight, with some nice music, the place turns out to be not too bad. They Katoeys were friendly, definitely not good looking, but nice and not pushy. I guess you can't have everything and this wasn't Obsession. Anway, that did it for the night, and decided to go sleep (alone). And, Casanova's on the second floor has so many LBs that should work for a bar named Amazon-dot-com... that I just walk on by. If the girls outside are indicative of the girls inside, forget it. Most places put their best foot forward! | |

| Koh Lanta | Obssesion OK, as a Noob to the KOK ventured out to some of these places mentioned as I had to check the veracity of this thread. Not my gig but curiosity having got the better of me, scribbled down a few details of the venues. A 2 min look in Cassonova was all that one took was not taken by the ambieance and the 'girls??' a quite scary ...then after deciding the top floor of Nana Plaza was too *&%$ hard and couldn’t be FCUK'ed poked the head into Obsession. The revolving floor was a nice touch, sort of like a Lazy Susan full of Susi at a Japanese restaurant.. you know its raw fish, but for some reason you look curisouly..?? Plus you got to see all the ....(girls??) Some were clearly not tucked in tight enough and had the John Tomas somewhere it shouldn’t be where as some of the girls ...the jury is still out on...or they’re amazing illusionists, was sure not to get too carried away as wasn’t in for a Game of Bangkok Roulette (Sanchez style) just yet. So aside from the beers being obscenely priced at 145 B for Beir Sing Lek, and the fact they hide ya change in the pouch section of the Bill folder in expectation of a tip, the place was entertaining. Just watching some of the punters stroll in take a seat and after the WTF expression arrives they quickly skull the beer they all but bought 1 min ago and 'Exit Stage Left' !! haha Though the highlight was as mentioned in the thread, this (Japanese??) tourist who retreated upstairs with foresaid catch to “whoop whoop whoop” and fits of giggles from the dance podium. Assessment – worth the look, and should form part of any cultural tour for mates that may visit.
