    What's Your Favourite Restaurant?

Mine is a place called Restaurant Como. My dad promised me once they got back from holidays, he'd take all of us, thanks to his job being paid permanent

I keep looking at the menu each day and drooling - i'm hoping that the new menu for this month shall be as cool, because the duck or the venison sounds good..... real good.

I went there and we had to leave without paying. The pork was off and the fish was cooked in rancid oil. I still feel sick now just thinking about it.

Now, Kuppa in Bangkok is good.

In Bangkok > Timber's when it was open because he spoiled us!
    > Tony Roma's Ribs on Sukhumvit.

In Pattaya > Preecha Seafood in Ban Umphere
    > Sizzlers = good food that the whole family enjoys and the salads are great.

I hate the formality of most restaurants Willy because it gets in the way of drinking and I normally get something quick and easy on the way home.

Thats the great thing about Bangkok and Pattaya.......Rust never sleeps!

    DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!

Absolutly foul food not fit enough for the rats. I left here and ended up with severe food poisoning for days.

The staff are unfriendly, service terrible and the restaurant was dirty and unhygenic. The smell of urine drifting through the restaurant was most discomforting binded with smell of damp mould clinging on the inside of the windows. The soi dog feaces at the entrance of the place is not an assualt course I want to navigate again

    KEEP AWAY!!!

If this Como eatery is owned by your father he is going to be real pissed off when he sees the mess you have caused............or is this restaurant your own and your looking for free publicity?

Best you sort your food, staff and the soi dogs out before you open the Teak Door again!

    I love Comos.

My mommy told me she would treat me to a seven course meal when she got done with her dirt nap.

    I am still waiting.

Don't you hate it when mommy and daddy lie?

A lot of good restaurants here, but if I was to choose one for consistent good quality, reasonable pricing, and attentive service, it would be 'Fatty's', on Chaofa Road East, Chalong. German guy has it, with a lot of really good continental dishes, but also surprisingly excellent Thai food also. Even the wife, who's not a great lover of farang food, usually goes for the pork steak with mushroom and pepper sauce, and mashed potatoes.

forgotten the name, used to be on soi 13, then moved to the corner so as to expand slightly.

They dont use menu's, just bring whatever is being cooked that evening. Waiter often does impromptu singing performances through the evening.

Takien Thai on the ground floor of waterford Soi 53. Southern style cooking.

Patara in Thong Lor 19 is very nice.

Bun Wa Pee between Seri Centre and Seacon Square was a favourite but haven't been for a while.

My kids love Senor Picos and I also love Mrs Balbirs.

thanks to his job being paid permanent
Never heard of Como but if an illiterate likes it, it's good enough for me to avoid. Where is it so i can miss it, but your Dad does sound like a great guy with a paid permanent job......whatever the fuck that is.

What are these funny little coloured icons on the bottom left of each post?

Oh and willy, your PM, I've been in the office very late every night this week and was away last weekend, I just haven't looked. Sorry.

Oh and no, I don't believe you....but yes La Piola.

I've always liked Face Bar too, Lanna Thai is a great place to take people who are new, wanna experience the Wow atmosphere without food that will over tax them.
