Good on ya mate and all the best for this venture.

2 things..........1. Do you deliver to Pattaya, the baked products looks great?
2. How's the back holding up after 2 weeks of slave labour?

If I am ever in the area of course I will drop in and support another TD member.

Congrats & good luck, MM.

Just one question - those gateaux in the first post: fresh cream or Thai synthetic crappy stuff? If fresh, they look wonderful!

Seriously, best of luck to you & yours.

Hi NR,

Thanks for your kind wishes.

The photo in the first post isn't actually a Gateaux. We did make some yesterday however and here is a pic of one of them after we had all had a taste test.

As for Thai synthetic cream, that is a swear word around here and is never used in our cakes.

I bet the Thais don't swear much then at your place, and if they do it takes 5 mins and 23 attempts to get it out.

Lovely looking place Memock, nicely decorated and looks like a very promising business, good luck.

Good luck, looks like a lot of work went into that.

If I'm ever in that neck of the woods, I'll pop in.

Sabang, as I type our third prototype is about to go in the oven. First two were good but not perfect so hopefully this is the one.
Chunky pepper, mince and bacon and egg at this stage.

Best of luck to you and by the looks of the place and what you're offering, it should work just fine.

Good Luck... My Thai wife in USA owns and operates a local coffee shop / bakery here and she really enjoys it . Although she really don't make large profits but the way I look at it shes now to busy to be out spending at the malls.
