It's not a big deal; I genuinely did mean it as constructive. When I was veggie I would stay quiet through countless bad meals or boring choices as long as my partner or friends were enjoying themselves. But if I felt my choices were being made light of somewhere, I wouldn't go to that place. I was just thinking there might be others the same, seeing as vegetarianism is often more down to principle than anything else (whether that be health or animal rights). Anyway, would love to visit, but I'm in the wrong place for that. About 3 hrs South of you. Good luck with the restaurant.

| Hat Yai | Thanks, part of the reason I was knocking on veggies (based on my personal experience) was that I see so many who do it for the "wrong" reasons (as I did) as a cost these poor unfortunate souls end up eating garbage food all their veggie careers. I had in mind several instances of this, as I was writing my responses. Nothing is sadder than seeing some uninformed numbskull starving themself to death due to their ignorance regarding proper vegetarian cuisine (I'm talking about the "trendy veggie.") This kind of person will typically turn their nose up at good food anyway, b/c they have no taste. At this point there is no hope for them so I resort to toying with them for my own entertainment.

| Absolutely delicious food with the most gracious host and excellent company. I'd say more but I'm a little drunk so I will save it for the Scamp thread which will be coming soon. Thanks very much Timba and Ms Attitude for a great start to the Thai New Year. |
