Sunrise Tacos
I feel very lucky because I have a Thai wife that also likes farang food. I have only gotten carry out from Sunrise Tacos before, so we decided to go the sit down restaurant across the street from their carry out store. Sunrise Tacos is located on Sukhumvit Road between Soi12 and Soi 13. They also have branches on the 5th floor of the Emporium Park Food Hall and the ground floor of Siam Paragon.

I can say that for me, dining in at Sunrise is better than carry out because the food is fresh on your table.

Many of the waiters are from the Philippines, so ordering is a snap and the place is clean.

Keep in mind, that parking is 20 baht and hour. We were there 1 hour and 2 minutes and it was 40 baht

No big deal.

We ate for a little over 500 baht and I took an order of chips and 2 cups of salsashome with me.

I've parked there free about 5 times, but haven't been in a few months, in fact not since they completed the dining restaurant across the plaza. They validate in that plaza for any of the shops there.

Only heard bad things about the sit down restaurant. Will reserve judgement until I try it myself.

Tried the carry out before the restaurant opened a couple of times. Food was decent but nothing special.

If I want a mexican I'll pop into Tops on Thong Lor and get proper nachos and a burrito from Sambrosas. I prefer it to Sunrise and it's cheaper. The soda fountain in Sambrosas also has the syrup mix turned up way high so the Coke is fantastic.
