| Senior Member | Just because they say it do not make it so in Thailand. Just like the law preventing water being thrown at vehicles on the hyways during songkran, that is about 4 years old and still never been enforced. Taking a drivers license test and then have to know and obey the written traffic laws. White lights on the front of a vehicle and red on the rear as per international rules, never happen in Thailand. Yield right of way to emergency vehicles with lights flashing and siren sounding., never happen in Thailand. Well we could carry on with this for ever, but you get the idea,, no rule or law is solid in Thailand.

| Sundance is my bff | The Cantonese Chinese will and do eat everything that walks, swims, crawls, flys, or otherwise moves or not on this earth. If you ever want an eye opener, next time you're in Hong Kong, go visit the big outdoor wet market in Wanchai. Huge sea turtles being chopped up alive to go home to be put in some Tai Tai's soup. All kinds of turtles and many other (I assume) endangered creatures. |
