    One Bar and Restaurant

Now this place is quite a long way away for most of us, so it is very unlikely that any of you have been there before.

It is about 20 km from Rayong and is at some unprounoucible beach, Laem Mae Pim, the beach here is actually very nice and the restaurant overlooks it.

The owner is of Scandanavian descent and has had the place for 2 months, I think he is gay as the place is done out quite nice and lot's of flowers and poofy stuff like that.

As you can see on the menu they have deer and ostritch and other unusual stuff.
Obviously being the adventourous type of person I am, I went for the cheese and bologna sandwich, my son for a change had bloody Tom Yum Krung yet again, my galfriend must have been hungry as she ordered the fried rice with seafood, som tam and some other dish, it reminded me of dinners shared with xzyte, I really don't know any other people that consider eating 3 main dishes in one sitting as normal.

As you can see here the beach is really nice and deserted.

But every beach has it's bad bits

Next post will be about the food with nice piccies I might add

Well here is the Tom Yam Krung, I got to admit it does look quite classy when they bring it to you with the fire still burning underneath the pot, although I assume they just wokked it up normally then just chucked it in the clay pot, still my son was very impressed with it.

My sandwich I have to admit was really really good, proper white bread with salad and mayo in it, the only bit that let it down was that the cheese was one of those tasteless cheese slices, nice bit of grated strong cheese would have made it perfect, then again could you make one of them for 65baht at home.

Next up was the galfriends meals, it seems that their Thai food isn't up to scratch, yep she said it was all crap, but then again she did eat most of it so it couldn't have been that bad.

Anyway this would be a nice place to spend a long weekend, it's very relaxed and they have many resorts there and loads of differant restaurants to choose from, actually I was quite suprised at the number of farangs there, plus it is only 15km from Ban Phe so you could easily nip over to Koh Samet for the day.
