Well I was on Jomtien Beach Road down by Soi 8 and I was a bit peckish, now here they have the Jomtien Boathouse Bar and Grill, this place serves imported steaks, has an extensive wine list, Elvis Presley evenings, you get the idea, sounds pretty good already don't it, it's a really classy place for expats to have a meal, so I went to the Thai seafood restaurant next door.
The juice counter, bet the Boathouse aint got one of these.
Pattaya Restaurant Guide
Not quite the ambiance that the Jomtien Boathouse has, nor quite aswell done out.
Yep, same view of the sea and the palm trees as they got in the nice restaurant.
My Yam Talay, or spicy Thai salad, pretty damn good actually, had squid, mussels, prawns and some luncheon meat type stuff, with rice and a coke 130baht.

One to try then DD. Nice and tatty.
BTW- they have an all day happy hour at the Boathouse, so it's not such a bad place to have a daytime drink by the beach.
Whats unusual about it is that all the beers are the same price- 59 Bht. So you might as well have a Heineken. It either goes until 4 or 6pm, not sure. And maybe they turn it off for high season.
Easy 'nuff to check.
p.s- what side of the Boathouse is this place on? Right as you are facing the sea, or left?

The Thai restaurant is to the right of the Boathouse if you are facing the sea.
