I've heard there are now boutique brands that only pick the tenderest shoots, etc. But I don't want to spend a lot on a tea I haven't tried.

I'm an Earl Grey/jasmine sort myself. I only drink coffee at work and only drink tea at home. A LOT of tea! I've heard it's an anti-oxidant and I've been drinking tea all day since I was a child.

So, over to our UK posters? There are British tea shops where I live so obscure brands are obtainable.
