    Paul for Lunch

...Stopped in for a quick lunch at Paul (Central Embassy): smoked salmon and avocado on sourdough bread with greens to start. I had the pesto fettuccine with grilled shrimp as main course while SD had the Kurobuta pork chop. An excellent lunch with 3 glasses of a very nice Bordeaux red. We shared a strawberry Napoleon for dessert (not pictured). An enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings. B2,300.

How long did that stave off the hunger Tom?

I normally just have the cheese and ham croissant and apple pie. Nice how their staff understand the English and a bit of pointing instead of that pretentious Gay Pa-ree spiel written everywhere

...if by regular you mean pork that is available locally, the Kurobuta pork is more tender, flavorful and juicier (imo)...the Japanese restaurant Meisen does an excellent breaded and deep-fried Kurobuta pork steak (tonkatsu)...
