It is inferring that it is a blended whiskey. For example...

K5 Himalayan Malt Whisky is made from organic, triple distilled grain spirit and natural Himalayan spring water. It is then blended with 8 and 12 old Scotch malt Whisky combining together best of east and west.
To the uninitiated, grain whiskies are the filler in blends, knitting together the real flavour from the single malts and – since they’re typically cheaper to make – keeping the price down. Unfair. Apart from giving real flavour and texture to blends, well-made grain whiskies have a distinct character all their own.

Meths. Methylated spirits. Ethanol mixed with methanol so as to deter people drinking it.
Yeah, meths is the stuff that makes you go blind.

I was kind of interested to have a look around for this. There is precious little information.

The whisky is made under the auspices of the "Army Welfare Project" you can make out the letters "AWP" on the bottle.

They also make a brand called K5, that one is made up of a blend of Scotland distilled malts and a top up of Bhutanese organic grain spirits.

Would not be surprise if yours was similar - perhaps with cheaper Scots malts, or more of the local stuff.

On balance, *probably* won't make you go blind. Probably.

    Bhutanese Whisky...What?-6280b76e-1824-4ced-ada7-12fe5f095532-jpeg

Got one of these as a gift from a Korean years back.

Lugged it around for awhile and finally gave it to some Issaners.

    Never felt tempted...
