Every one of those dishes looks right up my street.

Going to be in Bkk at the end of August for a few nights, and I'm particularly hankering after mussels.

I don't really share your apparent liking for shopping mall dining, though.

Many are sterile and artificial in this manner.

...back again, this time at the Siam Icon outlet with a wonderful view of the river...crab fried rice, Chinese kale, mussels in Thai herbs, steamed sea bass in lime and chili sauce and garlic calamari...enjoyed with a couple of Heinekens...all items freshly prepared and very tasty...

Does look good, and I will reluctantly allow my wife to persuade me to go soon
as on goes the game of restaurants

I too prefer independent ressies not shopping mall chains
but if that is where the good grub is there's no point complaining
    good thread again tom
    we won it at wemberlee

Most of those meals I would have selected as well.

    Looks absolutely scrumptious.

    Thanks for sharing Tom.

I have eaten at that restaurant chain once in Korat and once in BKK for business dinners. I find the food to be rather bland and over priced. I know I would not go there on my own. Its convenient with 8 or so with the big round tables.

Bland and overpriced is certainly standard for chain-restaurants.

I agree. The plus side though the food was consistent at both places so if you like it then you will enjoy same anywhere.

Again nice clean convenient restaurant but plan on dropping a lot of money for Chinese style food.
