    Pala Once Again

...lunch today was light...though weighted in favor of 5 glasses of Montepulciano (I don't know what came over me)...pan fried snapper, a chicory salad (first time to see chicory on a menu in Thailand) and a tiramisu...the Italian at the next table said the chicory should have been plunged into ice water and then served in the salad to ensure crispness...he was probably right, but the salad was still delicious...and crisp enough...

I haven't been inside Pala for probably about two years, but I still pick up some food to go when I'm in the area. I really like the food, but the seating was ridiculously cramped more often than not.
