    Pala Uber Alles!

A few of my favorite menu items at Pala: the bruschetta (chopped local cherry tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil, and salt on a slice of buttered grilled bread); puttanesca sauce on linguine: nearly as tasty as my own, though slightly over-sauced: pasta perfectly cooked; seafood on linguine: a favorite of Thai lunch guests...all enjoyed with a drinkable Montepulciano red. Pala consistently outperforms every other Italian restaurant I've tried in BKK in terms of menu variety, quality of food and service...highly recommended.

Italian, and they’ve been doing it a long, long time. Rocket (arugala) and parmesan is a classic combo.
