    Sushi Train.. choo choo!!

Family took me to a local Sushi Train restaurant last night.. was packed as always.

I'm sure you lads have already experienced it - but it was all new to me...

I'm sure, at heaven's gate... there be a Sushi Train for the good boys and girls...

OISHI!! and cheap... $1 each plate (25 baht).

If you've been... what's your favorite? I loved the automatic beer machine... the prawns topped with cheese (prawn anything really) Karage was great... deserts were awesome too... 5 people bill was $47 about 1,100 baht (inc beers)...

Very fun atmosphere... for those that haven't been... highly recommended...

    My lovely Niece...

My favorite... the almighty auto beer machine!!

    Desert... oh, this was $2...

^ err 1 plate (usually has 2 pieces of Sushi) is $1 (NZ) or 25 baht each plate... which is regarded as cheap.

    Oishi = yummy...delicious

^ I like that too... TBH, I'm wasn't a fan of Sushi (especially raw fish) but the cooked ones are very, very good...

I hate being unfashionable and not liking raw fish I'm excluded from the club...

My niece doesn't dig the raw ones either... I can eat it, but much prefer cooked.

    Oh man for shame.

I literally have to go for sushi like twice a month. There is a place close here that does three rolls for $20 which I split with my girl. A smoking hot deal. We then add some nigiri (toro and unagi are fav's) and maybe some miso and boom a killer meal.

There was a place in Bangsaen 399 baht buffet some people had plates piled up about 3ft high. Unfortunately the place closed down after a year must have lost a lot of money Sushi was good always fresh but most customers must have eaten over 1000 bahts worth of food.

Niice! I just discovered a Sushi train near me, but I haven't went yet. I'm sure it is way more than $1 per plate, but I'm curious about it. I really don't like raw fish, but I like the first pic of yours with the cooked salmon. Looks like you had fun. The sushi train was packed here when I walked by yesterday.

In all practicalities, we should be expecting a new "moving in" photo thread, yes Dick?

I trust they're better than the 'sushi train' restaurants we get here in soulless shopping centres in Thailand. Factory mush.

Then again, I suppose comparing one of them to a Jap sushi train place is like comparing a Thai Korean BBQ restaurant, to a Korean BBQ.
