    Cocotte

...located on Sukh soi 39 just after the left turn past Opera. Mildly bistro-y Frenchy without pretension. SD and I shared a marinated tuna tartare appetizer: finely chopped tuna marinated in lime juice and served with a very light sauce...excellent. Mains included a cheeseburger and fries (for the savage I was sharing the table with) and a grilled sea scallop paella using carnaroli rice: filling but flavorful, particularly the bits of smoked ham and chili in the rice. For dessert we shared a chocolate confection with 3 grades of a heavy chocolate mousse: 70%, 60% and 50% and creme fraiche: killer! A French cabernet (B260 the glass) went down well with the meal. We're definitely paying a return visit (All pics on my fb page).

Checkbin: B3,400 including 3 glasses of wine and water (after discount with Citibank card).
Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd

    The chocolate sounds phenomenal.

And no complaints about the price this time.
