    Mr. Pizza - Promenade Minburi

    Review By TopperBoy

While I was visiting the Promenade in Minburi I was offered a 20% discount coupon/brochure to a new pizza place called.....

    Mr. Pizza

After parousing the brochure the wife and I were struck by two things...the combos they offered and the price they offered them at...one was good, the other wasn't so good.

We decided to go absolutely whole hog wild and order not one, but two of their creations, the Vegetarian and the Bulgogi pizzas, both regular sized.

The Vegetarian went for 369B, the Bulgogi 479B for a total of 678.40B with the 20% discount.

The first thing that struck me was the pizza box...instead of packets of ketchup taped to the top, it was sachets of Tabasco sauce.

First opened was the Vegetarian Pizza:

    Next the Bulgogi Pizza:

They both were among the best pizzas I've had in Thailand. The pizzas had real cheese, with great topping distribution. We ordered a thin crust pizza, but the crust was a little thicker than I would have liked, though tasted wonderful

The Bulgogi pizza is incredible. For us, it'll will be a once a month treat for sure. I give it a 8.7563/10 due to the crust being thick for a thin crust and the price.

Great review ... except for the font size ... my eyes are fine with the standard.

Unless you are trying to outdo Mr Snake Eyes ... in that case ... carry on.

The 'Bulgogi pizza' does look nice.

Bulgogi doesn't sound like genuine EyeTalian food to me. Korean? With beef? Was it sapicey?

Not sapicy at all...but wonderfully flavored...thankfully they thoughtfully provided Tabasco in packets to add that kick.

Yes, a fusion between Korean and I-Tie food....

The pies were quite nice, I'd recommend them.

Think it may be a chain.

If my memory serves me correctly, they boast that it only takes 11 minutes or so to cook.

A good brick oven and a thin pizza two minutes is a long time...

We still don't know what was on the Bulgogi, other than real cheese, even after the question was posed.
Come on, Da..., ehr, Topper Boy, was it beef? ...onions, mushrooms?

I like the way that they had a couple of goes at spelling 'vegetarian'.

    ...or was it TopperBoy's writing?

    Perusing probably.

Perusing the brochure - having a look through the brochure.

The vegetarian dish came with 6 sachets of Tabasco sauce!
    Why so many?

Thanks and there I thought it was to squeeze all of them Tabasco sachets out onto the food to make it taste good.

I thought it was a great contrast to the Yank pizza places that send along a 1/2 kilo of tomato sauce packets with their pies.
