Its a flipper delicacy Bboy. Its like balut, you need to have an acquired taste for dilis kinilaw to appreciate it.

It does go well with Lambanog....

No comparison to the salty, fishy anchovy preserves.

Tastes a bit like pickled Herring if you keep it in the ref for a couple of days with vinegar (+salt & black pepper/chilli). Difficult to find in LOS.

The fish has to be FRESH. The iced ones wouldn't taste as good. Also, we use coconut vinegar instead of the artificial ones. I love it!

Sometimes, they also pour rich coconut milk in he mix.

Good food, good music, and hard work...And more on "the stories"...

    Could be a best-seller...Heh...

A flask of wine, beneath the bough, a loaf of bread, a book of verse and Thou, beside me singing in the wilderness, and the wilderness is Paradise enough.

    Get it right.

I will never understand Filipino cuisine: all the wonderful food in the world and they eat stingrays...

Fresh sting ray is good. I'd pass on the adobo though.
