    Heaven's Burgers - Ramkhamhaeng Soi 24 Yaak 20

Just down from "The Nine" lies a hole-in-the-wall burger place that serves up great burgers at a great price.

    Heaven's Burgers

The husband and wife team of Nok and Fah knock up some great burgers with some incredibly delicious sides. They have been classically trained in both Mexican and Italian kitchens and have spent years abroad perfecting their craft.

We started off with the salsa and chips (85B). I was totally blown away. The salsa was easily better than anything I've had outside of southern California. Fresh, sweet, tangy as fu...heck and was perfectly balanced.

We then moved on to the chicken quesadillas (135B), again a smash hit. Chicken in a paprika sauce then smothered in cheese...damn good eatin'.

After tasting the wonderful Mexican food, we both decided on their Mexican Burger (159B).

Perfectly cooked to a medium, with a nice bun. Their homemade salsa was a great complement to the burger, I had no problem finishing mine.

For desert, they make "shaved ice" (80B) deserts. My wife got a chocolate one, but the pictures turned out bad. Luckily, there was another customer who requested one...

    Chef Fah and her work...

It's a great place...just remember to bring your own beer as they don't sell on site.

    We'll be back....

I took the family down to the Nine for some Japanese food the other night and was not impressed. Cokroachers everwhere that we had to fight off before our average overpriced meal arrived.

This isn't the Nine, it's not Japanese food and if you'd went down the street just a bit more, you and your family wold have been impressed.

They care about the quality of their food..and with the place being small it's all about quality.

None were on offer, either, which proves the superiority of the place.

Do they use imported Aussie beef to create their patties from a combination of brisket, chuck and a sprinkling of rib-eye?

Any grill jockey who had skewered my burger with a steak knife as indicated by those photos would have felt my toe up his arse.

Screw the Gent seeking assholes. He's so fucking fussy he probably can't appreciate german saugages which kick mealy brit sausage off the planet.

Now what I really miss is the Scottish, British, Irish treat; blood pudding. Though mostly prefered in Scotland. Which says the Brits are stupid twats to foresake a delicious cultural heritage.

Britain is a fucking disgrace, to get a feel for the wonders of anglo culture go to Scotland.

    I'm sure it's a reflection of the forum's values....sadly though I doubt that it's the business's.
