Just a little inside joke, doesn't warrant a whole thread.

For those of you that are new here, the original thread was the first troll of the planet ever done on teakdoor. It, along with a few others, lead to the creation of the trolling forum

This moment in teakdoor history was brought to you by the "dear pooly" thread. Ask Pooly to solve all your mental and physical problems. Especially if you're a gal with a nice rack.

Nah it was a piece of shit copy called Taco Time, but that was years ago in the old Ambassador Arcade. Shite is was.

I have been trying to get a Taco Bell here for over 15 years. Pepsico is just not into it. It would be perfect as now in the states many KFC's have a Taco Bell attached. We have the KFC's but sadly not the TB's.

Surely Taco Bell is just a franchise, so if you had the money, they would just let you get on with it?

Or did you want them to fund it?

Its not that simple Marmers, its owned by Pepsico Int. And they are not keen to enter this market. I have tried everything including a visit to corporate headquarters 5 years ago.

There's a few Mexican type places in BKK, but apart from Senor Picos, none of them seem that good or sucessful. Maybe a brand name would be more sucessful, but I'm not convinced that there is a big market for it here.

Senor Picos is okay, the drinks are better than the food. I always get a taste of cardomen or some indian spice in my mexican food when I eat at picos. Perhaps I shouldnt have seen the chef adjusting his turban.

I thought Pepsico sold all fast food chains and now they are owned by Yum! brands, former Tricon.

take a hot dog and dip it a thick corn bread-like batter (double dippin' is encouraged dip let her dray a bit and dip again), once it's got about a 4-6 mm thick coating drop it HOT oil deep fry it a deep golden brown. Some mustard, hot english to frenches plain it's all good
You can bake 'em too if you're health conscious

I've never seen one.

So it's a bit like the English sausage in batter, except you use plastic sausages? OK. I'll stick with the Limey version.

Sounds like you're in worse shape than I'll ever be for missing American food, Frankie. I never eat corn dogs, and don't eat at Taco Bell. The only real junk food I eat much are the occasional cheeseburger and pizza. Both of those I can get in Pattaya, although I seriously doubt that I'll be able to find any as good as those made here. Of course, I can always buy some ground beef, and make a cheeseburger myself now and then.
