Picking up a bottle of groceries.

A while back someone said my home products were crap. I think they did not know that the choices are many. This local store blows my mind in that regard. This thread is a small sample of the things I will miss when I decide to retire and start what I hope will be a well deserved vacation of travel.

So little time, so much beer. These are all micro brews from the area. Remember when you are out of Bud "tough Shlitz".

I switch off. New Glarus is among my favorites. I did just finish (last night as I have a few days off) a sixer of Lakefront Brewerys' East Side Dark Lager.

This is what I'm talking about when I said "things to bring from the US." Well thats it for now. It snowed last night and I have to plow the drive with the ATV before the better half comes home to find out I've screwed the day away....again. I think I will miss the snow some day. Just not today.

I was born in the once great city of Milwaukee Wisconsin. I say once great because it was once a hub of manufacturing. Allis Chalmers (Turbines/ tractors),American Motors (Jeeps and the AMX), Allen Bradley, Master lock, AO Smith, Milwaukee Electric Tool, Snap On Tool, Briggs and Stratton, Harley Davidson, Chrysler, AC Delco, Bucyrus Erie, Caterpillar, Miller Beer, ect.
I too had served an 8600 hour apprenticeship thus holding a Journeyman title,
    dealing with Tool and Die.
Sad to see it slowly erode.
Left the field soon after NAFTA was passed. As Forrest Gump would say "That's all I got to say about that."

In the 80s I recall walking behind the salt trucks with a spud bar breaking out the sewers. Cold ass job as boots were shit then. Jobs were few as all were heading south. I rented a place on 19th and state. I think an liquor store owner owned it.Could be your guy. Don't care. I did sleep with my P226 as the cracks tried the back door nightly. Playboy centers were the folds left on the milk crates in the open basement. Fool had the gall to ask if I could fix his Basement brick troubles. Left that place as soon as I could. I did however like being that close to Rickies on State.

Sorry I've been an ass. I ate too much Asparagus and Pork chops Xcetera. My piss smells like asparagus, for lack of no other term. For that I have no one else to blame. As Ian Anderson once said "Jesus Save Me." And so it goes... "In you're pomp and all you're glory you're are a poorer man than me as you lick the boots of death born out of fear." OK sounds good on a sound bite but as you all know it is best to Keep Trucken ON. I'm down 100,000. as of last month. Life has its ups and downs. Be positive, you can do anything, I could live what you believe is Utopia but I hold on to my own self worth. I do not want fall into the self obliteration category as so many before us have. And then what high school photo did you take the shot at. Not

CNX good to see you still have vision. Nice place BTW. I'm ashamed of my poppers cabin. If I cant do the tile work myself it is all sub standard, or so I'd think. Just because I'm an ass and I do Know Better. The Vodka sets in. Lets talk "never mind "
