| Chiang Mai | The reason the Lasagna tastes so good, even though the noodles are overcooked, is that he uses real ricotta cheese. Other than the Montien on Wednesday nights, it is one of the most authentic Italian places around here. And you get to look at lots of hooker eye candy while you eat. |

| Senior Member | Not to hard to make your own Ricotta, If you can make some good Cottage Cheese that is, then press it for a little while, It worked for me, not aas easy as just going to the store and buying it, but I don't know of a store here that sells it, for sure none in my area.

| I have only ever been disappointed by these cheap pasta deals, apart from a place in East Sydney that did spag bog, salad and garlic bread for a set price. BTW, the mark up on spaghetti deals is enormous, and must surely fund the Mafia. |

| Not bad by lookling at it. There is only one thing I see that isn't right, this happens at most places here in the USA too. Too much sauce on the pasta. I've come to acceot it as part of the experience. I'll try it out if I ever get back to Pats.

| The Dog | Well they seem to have lost half of their seating, at least half, at this present moment the road from Pattaya to Jomtien is being widened and loads of land that busineses used to use is now being made part of the road, so expect longer waiting for a table and a lot more road noise and dirt

| Well I finally went to this place today for lunch, It's called Tino's btw, but the Italian flag is a dead giveaway. Very good actually, and it's not just a pasta place- they have a pretty good menu overall. We had- Affettatti, 150 bht. This was a good size selection of Italian cold meats (a ham, a salami, and something else). Didn't come with bread though, so I ordered that extra. Bit of a treat this, 'cus I like those eytie smallgoods. 2- Spaghetti Vongole, 150 Bht. Pretty good, not the best I've had but certainly not the worst. This, the lasagne and the marinara are their most expensive pasta's. Mrs ordered this spicy, so I had to pick a few chilli's out. Scallopine Pizzaiola, 120 bht. Outstanding actually, tender meat and a nice sauce. Cheap too, and a decent size, being 5 or so scallopine's. The spag starts from 90bht for the Arrabiata, spagbog is 100 bht and it goes up from their to 150. Roast beef at 120 bht seemed an outstanding bargain, fritto misto 150, scallopine and milanese 120. Mrs and I bill, including a large Leo, came to 480 bht- and that was going a bit on the large end of the menu. I can recommend this place too- the food is just as good as many a place where you pay double the price for fancy decor and indifferent service. Wife and I prefer it to PanPan actually, which would be at least twice the price.

| ~ Bruno's is a tad overpriced imo, considering you've got Mata Hari just up the road. They levy a ++ service charge, MH doesn't, and their wine is 'generously' markep up. Can't argue with the food though, sure beats PanPan . But I do rate their price fixe' Lunch menu. |
