| The Dog | Bang Saray a Thai Seafood Restaurant So first off with the daughter, she asked me what color farangs blood was, so obviously trying to help farang Thai relationships and that deep down we are all the same I told her we had green blood, that should create a whole class of Thais that are scared of the farang aliens Now these girls have all just had their fortunes told and I had missed out on the earlier part of the conversation as I was concerntrating on my driving and trying not to spill my beer, so as we drive into Bang Saray one of these lovely young ladies points out a farang and says, "Foking Farang", then the other does the same, then my girlfriend joins in, this continues all the way upto the pier where the restaurant is, now I should add that these girls have farang boyfriends, their lovely boyfriends gave them the money to see this fortune teller so they could enjoy themselves and have a bit of happiness and enjoy a day out, turns out this bloody fortue teller told them all that their boyfriends including me were all butterflys, so these poor guys thru no fault of their own are now probably having a really hard time and have no idea why. I have been to this restaurant several times but I cant remember the name, probably something seafood restaurant, they got the usual assortment of live animals that you can sentence to death and eat, I was more into the beer so didn't bother eating that much, anyway here is a nice picture of our table with the fried rice. The view from my seat. My son wasn't with us so thats a tom yum seafood thingy. I think thats raw shellfish, I couldn't be bothered to reach over and try that as I prefer my food cooked. Some vegetarian dish in oyster sauce I believe, didn't bother with that either, I mean if veggies were meant to be eaten for enjoyment they would taste like meat.

| When the tide is out , does it smell? And, if so is it the waitresses? ![]() Looks like a clean place, and the chow looks good also! Did they stick it to you on the price- seeing that you are a "Foking Farang"! |

| The Dog | Bang Saray Fishing Village Have to say the service was good, but I should mention we didn't have any Aussies with us to scare away the nice waitresses. The prices are all on the menu so aint much chance of being overcharged, got to admit the place never smells which is unusual for a place with so many fishing boats.

| I prefer Ban Amphur I suppose- closer to Pattaya, and the Ban Amphur seafood resturant does the best Cantonese style steamed fish I've had in Thailand. Nice and tatty too- you pick your fish out of a concrete tank, and I'd want to hire an assistant to even photograph the bogs. Prices much the same. Preecha is quite nice in Amphur too, if you like something a bit less tatty. Only a small bitch, but I thought these out of town places would be a bit cheaper. Hell, I can get cheaper fish out here near Mabprachan. But I suppose everyone loves to be beside the seaside. DD- did you actually have any food here besides beer?

| The Dog | Bang Saray SeaFood Restaurant They had the usual selection of fish and that but not a lot of each, I think the Pattaya tourist season must affect them aswell, ie Pattaya no tourists means Thais aint getting the money to eat at these places, ok 3 oclock in the afternoon isn't a main eating time for Thais as they would have starved to death normally before that time and it was too early for the evening crowd, You wouldn't have liked it anyway, no exotic animal penises or snails or sea life viagra type things
