Would it be in poor form to momentarily shun the virtues of the crisp and concentrate on tonight's supper?

    Behold!

Trust me, you don't get that many of those 'green chilli things' unless you are actively contributing vast sums of cash into the Turkish economy...

My dear boy - I have sniffed, picked and licked the underpant crotch of Southeast Asian civilisation, and, with the exception of Tasto Salt and Sour, the region boasts not one palatable starch-based snack treat.

There's nothing gay about a saveloy; it's the king of cod and chips afterthought accompaniments...

Food just doesn't get any better than that, unless you add a:

& some knowledge-less lunatics think Britain lacks in the cuisine department...
How do I post these pictures???

I've never had a Thai meal that has hit the spot like a saveloy and chips, or a steak and kidney pie and chips, or a donner kebab with extra chillisauce, or a Friday night chips with curry sauce from the Chinese takeaway... God's food...

    Obviously.

    It's because you're not Thai.
