The best burger deal I've had in BKK is oddly at Sunrise Tacos. It's 1/2 lb & <200B. If your in Emporium it shits all over Dukes. I don't care for their Mexican Fare though.

HP Sauce and mushy peas need to be added into the equation! Has anyone been to The Offshore at the end of Soi Cowboy? Any good?Originally Posted by fohk

The Offshore has re-opened, but it's getting bad reviews. The Kiwi on Soi 11 does a good job with some higher grade ingredients. more expensive of course. LINK: Snapper: Award winning Fish & Chips and seafood Bangkok, Thailand

Well, after 20 bottles of Chang it was fine. Quite why folk expect some culinary zenith from a fucking fast food joint in a third world city shithole beats me.
Why do you call it 'fast food'? Have they installed a service counter like KFC?Originally Posted by Seekingasylum

I've been a couple of times recently as I live around the corner. The chips have been first rate for Bangkok. The fish was ok, but I've had better at the Queen Vic over the road and a few other places. It's inexpensive though. However, it is rather grim inside. I'd say that takeaway chips to go with something you've bought elsewhere is your best bet with that gaff.
I'm not sure why this has become the western filth food thread but I'd recommend Chef's Bar on Sukhumvit 21 next to the Crossbar pub as a good place for pie and chips. There is, I believe, a glass ceiling on how delicious a pie can be, but the pies there are pushing that ceiling and the chips are good as well. The burgers are apparently made with Wagyu beef but I think there are better burgers to be had elsewhere. The aussie owner does all the cooking himself. Apparently won't be there for long as he's going to focus on making pies for wholesale or something. The owner could do with being a bit more welcoming and positive but he knows how to bang out hearty grub.
Might be a new place for you to try out some burgers.
As you seem to be the nominated burger joint taster on TD.

Papas and then Burger Bros are the best in BKK for me, but I do agree that burger does look nice.Originally Posted by cyrille

Not a bad price for a 220g burger. I'll give it a try next time in the bid mango.
