Imagine my surprise when I figured out who he was 7 years later when he served me his "barbarian burger" in Pai. He's got a real nice little place there. | |

| Best breakfast I ever had was a three-egg omelette folded over crabmeat, jack cheese and asparagus spears. Problem was, we had to pull up the crab traps, cull the nasty things, boil them and pick them. I was so tired by the time we ate, I had to take a nap. Oh! Maybe the mimosa had something to do with it. |

| The Grand Wazoo | The best breakfast in Patong is at the Islander restaurant. They've got a "big breakfast" for 180 baht that will make a man of ya: Eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, beans, taters, tomaters, toast, butter, jam and a nice big mug of coffee or proper british tea (you know the kind of tea that doubles as a varnish remover or makes an Irishman smile!) I usually just go for the yankee breakfast which consists of a more sane portion of eggs and bacon along with the big mug of coffee. Last edited by Mr Earl : 21-02-2007 at 07:40 AM. |
