The Cajun style blackened burger at the old Woodstock in Nana was one of my favourites. Unfortunately, last time I went there a coupla years back, I thought it had gone right off. It closed soon after I think. So if the new location is still doing the blackened burger, worth a go. BTW- Does the New Orleans in Washington Square do a Burger? I find their American food both good, and value.

From ajarn... The Dear and I went there yesterday after reading a favourable review in BK magazine. It's on the 2nd floor of the All Seasons complex on Wireless (Wittayu) road. Decked out a bit like an American diner (gas pump, number plates, old Pepsi sign), it seems a little out of place, but the very pleasant staff were swift to offer us menus and treat us like customers, instead of irritants. I read the menu with an expression on my face much like the one Homer wears when thinking about donuts, and my usually demure companion started bouncing around in her seat with excitement at all the fattening pissabolities. I plumped for a Haka Burger and Dear went for the Chilli Con Carne. Both dishes arrived promptly, and I gazed in wonderment at what I had before me. The thickly cut potato wedges were squishy with perfection, not too hot, certainly not cool. The salad was actually enticing! A lump of chunky coleslaw, grated carrot and two dark red slices of tomato, some onion rings and a big old piece of dill pickle. But the burger man, the burger ruled! It was friggin' huge, was seasoned to perfection, and left me feeling sated, instead of heavy. Meanwhile, across the table, herself was lost in a little world of eating pleasure, every now and then looking over at me in order to pull a face that indicated it was all top notch. I had been washing this down with Singha, which for some strange reason tasted great. At this time (18:00), there was a 20 baht discount per bottle as well. We ordered pie, like you do when you're on a roll, and the apple offering was also superb. The whole bill was 1100 baht, and that included free tortillas and salsa. If you've got a craving for red meat, I suggest you go there. __________________

Triple O White Spot There was an advertising supplement in yesterday's Post that touted the "Triple O White Spot" which is in the Food Hall at Central World. Anyone tried it yet? From their Hong Kong Web Page: ![]() ![]()
