I stopped it and it didn't, though i guess I have never really stopped it because I haven't had taters or bread or rice or pasta for a few years now.

I was getting my carbs from 10 pints of beer a day but they've gone too now.
It's a very maintainable diet.

Why do you need those nasty carbs?
get enough from veg like pumpkins anyway.

I had a full check up in the hospital today.

I have lost 3.2 kgs since I started my version of the Atkins Diet.

I have a fatty liver and my bad cholesterol is a little high (not too much), so we shall see what improvements I make (or not) when I go back for a check in 3 months time.

I had a pint of Guinness to celebrate!

I've been following a Atkins like diet for last few days.

I was wondering do the clear bean thread noodles count as protein or carbs?

I've found they are easy to fix and eat. Very tasty with a little cabbage, pesto and hot sauce. I can fix a meal in about 5 minutes.
