Thread: Urgent!!! Where Can I Find Guinness?

Hi guys....

I'm hosting a St Patrick's Day party on Saturday......I cannot find Guinness anywhere..I was hoping for draught Guinness in a can.

I have tried the usual suspects already ....

Villa

Tops

Foodland

All these near Minburi. Bkk

Can anyone else please help me.....? It's a disaster waiting to happen.

OP: Are there any private, members only, supermarkets in Thailand, like Price Mart or S&R. These are bulk supermarkets. You pay an annual fee to join. I am in the Philippines, and that's where I find a lot of stuff, including Guinness, which I can't find elsewhere. There is also a British Pub here with an adjoining small market selling British food items. They also sometimes have Guinness. It might be worth checking with some of the Irish or British pubs in Bangkok to see if they have stock, or where the get it from. Now, all this has made me thirsty, so it's off to the kitchen to get a Guinness. Best of luck!

Very difficult.

A friend inquired a few months ago and none of the supermarkets (villa, foodland etc.) could get it.

there's a wholesaleres on Kho Samui does it.

There's this lot as well, might be a bit short notice though..

I thought about approaching a bar in Nana. I kind of know the owner of Chequers Bar, they have Guinness on tap.

But maybe the cost would be too prohibitive.

Apparently there are 123,000 of your ilk living in the UK now. Must be something to do with work, I suppose. Not surprised really, Froggieland is probably the last communist state in Europe and the intelligent ones leave rather than pay silly taxes and watch lazy, smelly bottomed state apparatchiks ( i.e half the population ) sit about all day picking their large hooters and scratching their ample arses.

Actually, rather surprisingly, I have found out over a third of a million krauts work in the UK too.
