    Ayutthaya Kru Coffee Shop

Now this place on Naresuan Soi 1 is run by an embittered ex smoker, he wants to smoke but hates it if other people do and throws you out of his place at the first hint of getting a cigerette out, he talks about getting aircon in there and then closing the front to keep people cool, but will that happen? or is he just a bitter person?

Yep he is just a nasty bitter ex smoker gone bad......

Anyway his coffee is quite good and soon he will learn whereabouts in Laos it actually comes from, but for 30baht a cup he has the nasty teachers queing up for it, he also does food but I don't eat in the mornings so I have no idea if it is actually edible, but he did promise to take some pictures also he is now introducing funny ways of making coffee, me I like my coffee like my women, Brown and Sweet

I should add that quite often he sleeps in the coffee shop with his girlfriend, so the odds are that he has sex on the floor with her in the coffee shop, as he also makes you take your shoes off so be a tad carefull where you step

Question... do they sleep behind the counter?

A definite stop on my list next time I go through town... Are there direections somewhere, or do we just stop every yokel & ask for Ayutthaya Kru Coffee Shop?

Like what useful landmarks are there around the place. I always seem to remember driving straight through town, not bothering to stop. I'm not good at stopping at every signpost & asking for a Thai-English translation.

His sausage and bacon sandwitch is really good, is it on the menu yet? The pancake's were real gut fillers and the coffee is really good, the Lao blend is much better than the Thai.
The breakfast looked ok but I prefer my eggs fried thai style all chrispy (I've been told you can ask for them like this though)
I have more than the average number of arm and legs

The breakfast is very good (when it all arrives) but I think they should get rid of the french fries, as that is NOT a breakfast item.

BTW, the shop is called "Coffee Kru", not "Kru Coffee Shop".

What about the salad garnish ?

Cornflakes/muesili with bannans sliced up in it is nice.....as a starter for a bacon and sausage sandwitch of course

Traditional English food perhaps? bacon sausage beans fried bread eggs toast etc etc etc, and not those horrid things that Americans eat, cant remember what they are called at present but each 100 grams contains over 4,000 caloeries, no wonder they have such an obesity problem there

    As DD said.

Bubble & squeak would be nice, as well as the black pudding that Joe sells. I wonder how long before they are added to the breakfast?

Also, please note that snotty fried eggs are not that appealing.
