    Need a bore sunk

Hi. I live approx. 36kms north of Tak just off the main hwy to Lampang. I am trying to find someone to sink a bore, not dig a well, on my property. Does anyone have any contacts? I have had no luck with getting any info from my locals. I intend to pump the water into tanks to use on the garden. The town water supply is unreliable. Thanks.

Is that around Ban Tak? If you are in the area with granite outcrops you may not get much of a well.

The Groundwater Division of the Department of Science and Environment will have an office somewhere in Tak. Those boys sometimes do "foreign orders" or will recommend one of their mates.

If you really need a bore to sink, I'd suggest putting Boonme down in that hole. He gets quite boring with all his Obama jokes.

Actually, you probably should just check around locally to see who has a well and ask who does it in your area. There is a thread on here with some info on this topic. You might find it interesting. I'd guess up in Tak you might have a bit more stone than in some of the other parts of Thailand. That could cost a bit more.

Thanks for the replies. Yes there is a fair bit of stone here, thankfully not granite, and lots of hard clay. I will follow up on both replies and see how I go.
