Seems to be a different curry mainly used in India than here too, so maybe thats the reason it is not used in Thailand to much.
Seems that anything that could be classed as a sauce of gravy here is called CURRY.
Found any yet? I have also been looking - curry plants (Murraya koenigii) are grown in Burma, Thailand and Indonesia, but I've had no luck looking for a supply up here in NE Thailand.Originally Posted by zubber

I have a tree here in Roi Et, and will be happy to try and get some cuttings going if there is interest... a wonderful herb indeed.
with vegetables so cheap here, i never really gave thought to gardening.
They should be available. Have a look around the south, they're used frequently in neighbouring Malaysia (and the tree grows there as well).
