Because I have a relatively small amount of land to farm (10 rai)I've been thinking about making preserves and such with the crops I'm growing. Jams, marmalades, sun dried tomatoes, banana crisps, mango crackers etc etc... Any more ideas or suggestions.. |

![]() | You must use the correct type of banana. Don't quite know how to type this but it sounds like Gluay Hack-Mok. We grow them ourselves and you have to use them before fully ripened. We sell to local shops and to the department store in town. If you are interested then I think I have enough pics to do a thread on it. |

Not impossible to do but just another hurdle to overcome. I have always wanted to sell roasted kanun nuts. They look like a brazil nut and taste quite nice. The thai throw them away and have it fixed in their brains that the nuts are only trash. | |
