    Pond Fish Mix

What is a good combination of fish to keep in a garden pond. My pond is 12.5 cubic meters, 60 cm deep. I am located near Korat and at present have about 25 small Koi plus a mixture of water plants. We want a mixture of fish for viewing.

I am not sure about what type of fish you want in your pond. But I have found out that minnows do well with very little upkeep. If you have a thriving (living water plants in the pond) pond they should be OK. They’ll take care of the misquotes also.

We have three large water barrels here in BKK with living water plants in them and two small ponds at the Khon Kaen home (visit that place just once a month) with minnows in them,………we do not feed them and they seem to do very well on their own.

You might want a better looking fish in your pond than the tiny minnows,….trial and error maybe?

    stick with just the koi.
they are going to grow very large, and you probably have too many in there already.
whatever you do, do NOT mix koi and comets. you would be looking for BEEG trouble!!!!

your pond is a bit shallow for koi, too.
    good luck
