My little garden erection

I built this thing over my pond last week

I used bamboo from my garden to erect this structure over my fish pond.

pond has been out exposed to the sun for too long and needs some shade, also nice to keep the leaves out.

here's one i took from my computer room window.

Gilly the Dog is intrigued cos i have just pumped the pond and chucked the fish back in.

don't think she could see them through the filthy water before.

not really, it's about 3 and a half feet deep in the middle

looks a lot smaller in pics than it is.

3.5 metres by 4.5

big enough i think.

What fish do you have in pond?
Do you recommend others to follow your example and have a pond in the garden?
How much does a pond such as yours cost to build and maintain?
How many fish can you keep in a pond of your size?
And about your erection, was it your own doing or did somebody lend a hand to assist in making such an erection possible?
I do like your dog, where did you get the dog? NR?

comets and also 12 little edible nim fish that we caught in a local fishing pond last week, they are about half a hand big at the moment..

apparently we are going to eat them in about a year's time.
