Normally the perspective of the owner is the one that matters not some knob who likes weeds and thinks everybody else should too.

Alternatively, consider the disconnected source and perspectives of said owner and those who follow the expected convention.....

If you mow once a week you will keep the weeds at a minimum. You should always use a bag on the mower as well. Keeps all the grass clippings away so as the grass breaths well. Should use fertilizer around 4 times a year. I also hand pick the weeds as I see them always try to grab good to get the roots out as well. Good Luck....

Good way to get rid of weeds is to piss on them.

Same thing I do. Works well.

Indeed - natural and practical solution without adding more harmful crap to the environment.
Why on earth would you tell me to 'fuck off' via repo for requesting advice on weeds?

Is it because I didn't respond to you in this thread regarding YOUR views to weeds vs grass? I didn't respond simply because that is not what i was asking. It's like you said, and MY view is they're are unsightly vs grass.

I can only assume it is TOM for you! I will say I'm quite surprised and I only thought the likes of Ant and Snubbles were that petty, but at least they had an argument.

Now, you fuck off you silly old bastard!
You bullied, you laughed, you lied, you lost!

There is no easy way to remove weeds from grass, believe me I looked long and hard to find that simple solution!
You gotta dig them out, roots and all, we have about 2 Rai of "lawn" 60% of it is thick enough now where weeds are no longer a problem, the other 40% still needs to be weeded, reckon it will be another year before that is healthy enough where it will need minimal weeding, for whatever reason? it takes a few years for lawns to establish themselves here, least mine has taken that long!
Chemicals will kill everything, me, the dogs and the grass! laying slab is not an option as prefer the cooler earth! any form of concrete or tile becomes a massive "heatsink" that takes hours to cool off after dusk and minutes to heat up in a morning! so not an option.
Regular cutting, frequency depends on the time of year helps the grass thicken up & plenty of water in the dryer times all help, if you don't water it, it will die off somewhat and give more room for weeds to grow!
Good luck & suggest getting a decent pair of gloves if you are going to be pulling weeds yourself, difficult to find someone to come in and be paid to do it!

    ^Cheers,

Will be building an extension over half of it so I imagine the grass will be ruined and need re-turfing afterward, leaving a smaller area to manage.

^ For some areas you may be better off with the "Malay" long leaf grass, takes a lot less care and bounces! back once hit with water, as it is a lot denser gives the weeds little space to thrive!
    Cheers.
