    Mushroom Growing

I have started experimenting and growing mushrooms in Kanchanaburi. We currently have the oyster mushroom and the poe tan which looks the same but is darker. Would be interested in any advice from others who have done this before.

It is getting hotter and it would appear that the shrooms are getting lazier and lazier.

Kanchanburi is one of the hottest provinces. Its nice and cool now. By mid march you will have 40 degree days and even in the mornings close to 30 degrees most days. I wish you luck.

Have tried, hard to keep temperature good, be a nightmare in the hotter parts of the year. In the finnish, couldn't grow enough product to be viable.

Most Thai mushroom production growers keep their crop dense [adds to lower temps] and dark/moist/isolated during the hotter periods, encouraging the morsels to flourish when it's not their nature to do so....

Wild shrooms come on in unison with a bountiful variety for approx. 2 months shortly after the rainy season kicks in - the first 3 weeks.
