Meat Exposed
i could not pass the 30 sec
I couldn't either, but not because of disgust.. Because of redundancy.. Applying human compassion to an animal produced expressly for food..
The treatment may be a bit OTT but really I think humanity has more pressing issues to address, it won't keep me from eating a good ham steak, pork chop or any other high protein meat product..
me too i still will eat meat , in fact i grow many animals myself, but sure it is a sad thing that MAN can do this, really sadOriginally Posted by FloridaBorn

Even as a vegetarian tree hugger I don't have a problem with eating animals as long as they are treated and killed humanely.
There was a UK series a while ago where they built a resteraunt at an abbotoir and took the audience on a guided tour of every stage of the killing and preparation of various animals, then they cooked and served up whatever had been slaughtered.
Very interesting.
The techniques and practices of 2nd and 3rd world butchery are disgusting, but only because the pain they inflict is just not necessary.
I remember a TV sketch years ago set in a restaurant - the Customer ordered Beef and a cow was led into the dining room and the Waiter pointed out the area from which their meal came. The cow was led out of the room and seconds later there was a gunshot then the sound of a mechanical saw.
The look on the faces of the diners was hilarious.

I watched this video called Faces of death years ago.
It's about this guy who goes around the world videoing death. I could watch the guy flapping his arms when his parachute wouldnt open and bouncing off the ground. I could even watch the Aussie sheriff getting eaten by a crocodile when they tried to remove it from a pond.
What I couldnt watch and when I turned it off, was when an english couple were sat in a restaurant in Asia somewhere and this little monkey was carried out screaming.
he was then clamped in a table, the diners given a hammer and spoon, where they proceeded to smash the monkeys brains in and eat it raw.

I worked for a farmer when I was a lad! He would not think twice! going in the sty and beating the pig to death with a hammer, and then saying it was a squealer, I can't sleep at night? He packed in the farm, this was after the start of the new channel 4, where he and his wife did a full sex scene, a first and new to British TV. He went on to be a porn star! Maybe he just liked to bang the ham!!! No joke.

It is barbaric, sadistic and unnecessary. It also leads to inferior product and the need for increased use of antibiotics and other chemicals that filter down into the water table and thence to rivers and lakes etc. which messes with all sorts of interconnected systems of nature.
Sorry Dill but just another fake pill of crap! Seems to be a lot on that you tube
FFS that monkey could have been dispatched with one blow at most two!!
Funny how when you see the skull being sliced open there is no sign that it was in fact beaten to death. Not one drop of blood, most likely a different monkey that had been shot!
Sweet breads,best cooked I'm told!
Sounds like the bloke was a right butcher.Originally Posted by Neep
Most of the "Faces Of Death" series was fake, interspersed with some real footage of people's parachutes not opening, etc.
Watched it when I was a teen, hoping for some real gore / actual snuff footage, and remember being really disappointed at the time.
