Yeah, but you're a glass is half-empty kinda guy.

Whatcha need to be thinking is: If I had a baht for every cat I've seen in my garden this year, and divided that by the ratio of cats to snakes I've seen in my garden this year, times that by pi, carry the two, quiet, I'm thinking...

^ Hurry up, Will..my hand's shaking over the calculator here.

Interesting lingual tidbit: Calculator = Couan Kid lek, in Siamese - which literally translates into 'Machine think number'. Clever eh!

I'm still laughing over 'toong taew' for sock.

    Translation: foot bag!

On a related linguistic note, the ubiquitous "boom boom" meaning the act of intimate love between partners of vastly different cultural background, weight and age, is apparently incorrect. My Isaan friends assure me that the correct pronunciation is "pom, pom". Can you verify?

But in the west we often do the same thing, except we use latin and/or greek to make the "machine think number" sound little more intellectual.

There you go, look at all the snakes that would have been there if you had no pussies.

Retribution required Somtam. Lull the fcuker with a tasty morsel, whilst making them tch tch noises, pick it up to chest height whilst gently petting its head (they like that), then drop it and catch it on the half-volley as far away as possible. Repeat as neccessary.
