Mr. Lick, hope you are well and Mr. Moderator, please pass on my (and everyone's) best wishes to Mr. Lick. This is one of my 'goto' webpages every day.
We can wait until you are fully recovered for further postings but some news on your wellbeing would be most appreciated.
Very best wishes.
It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of Mr. Lick. Lick was a valuable member of this forum. He passed away on the 2nd of October in England after a long battle with cancer. RIP Lick, you will be sadly missed.
RIP Mr. Lick. Even as you fought this horrible disease, you continued to bring joy to many posters with contributions to your wonderful picture thread. You will be remember, and missed, by many.
RIP Lick, you were a great friend, albeit we never met. I will miss you.
Very sad to hear the news, condolences to your family and friends. Hope they get to see this volume of work you created.
RIP.
He will be sadly missed.
Oh Dear.
RIP Mr Lick.
What a great job he did on this thread.
It is my birthday today and the news of Mr. Lick's passing is a horrible part of my day.
Having said that I feel privileged to be a fellow member of Mr Lick on this forum and totally enjoyed his contributions. R.I.P.
As I have commented on all three threads regarding the passing of Lick.....
Just wanted to inject that I don't believe anyone but him could have directed the development of this incredibly outstanding thread - easily the best thread within the forum - the consistent dedication and research it took on a regular basis to make this thread what it is. Thanks Mr. Lick....
Even when he was down and wasn't feeling up to it - he continued.
We all know he was fighting the battle the last few months......I believe many of us thought he was on the up swing and remission was in hand, as he was still posting everywhere up to the last couple of weeks.
TD loses another valued member/brother.
Condolences to the family there and here.
Perhaps, in the next life.
Take that peace with you.
I had no idea of his health and I will remember him as being perfectly healthy on this forum...
I remember waiting for the first million views...And congratulating him on this...And receiving his thanks with a slice of green pie...
Here's to your Two Millionth, Mr Lick...
I was always amazed that whenever we had one of our frequent natural disasters here, I could always go to Licks thread and find amazing photos that were never published here. I always wondered where he got his material, and marveled at the amount of work he put into the thread.
Deep respect Mr Lick RIP
I wondered that, as well...Some stunning photos...Originally Posted by Davis Knowlton
