MAINZ, Germany - A 6-ton tractor smashed into the bedroom of a family home near the German town of Homberg on Wednesday after its driver failed to secure the emergency brake. The 55-year old female farmer had stepped out of the vehicle to give first aid to an injured cyclist.
"The tractor rolled 540 yards down a hill and crashed into the house. Luckily, the owner was in the garden at the time and no one was injured," police spokesman Roman Eisenbach told NBC News. The house is now considered uninhabitable as it could collapse at any time, officials say
