Last night I had an interview there because they'd seen me dance outside their bar for several weeks. Personally I was scared when I went inside because I had heard allsorts of mafia stories and what not.

But the man in there was really wanting me to work. I had to go in a private room in the back and speak to the hair and makeup dude for an hour and then the dude that decides what we wear.

The second manager told me he wants me to work as a waitress first but one wearing the same clothes as the girls before I dance to see what customers I get in the bar and to see if I give the bar profit.

This job is no way easy! You have a special diet to go on and you basically do exactly what your manager tells you. No prostitution is allowed there and when you are caught you get thrown out. You also have a room to stay in but you have to stay in your room at certain hours a day, if you leave the room then you are sacked! There are cameras inside the building of which you live.

I've got my second interview tomorrow at some location I'm not allowed to speak of! And I get my clothes made for me tomorrow. So if I pull off the job like the man said then once I'm in, I'm "In" apparently....

So ladies and gentleman if you happen to be heading in there give me some tips please!!!!

I'm so pleased that they liked my dancing! It all sounds good and I've been told about tips you can make and the money you get out of lady drinks. Guys can also take you for private dances and escorts.

A few of the Russian girls spoke with me last night about the job there and I guess I'll have to get along with them if I am gunna share a room with them! They are really friendly and nice.... But maybe because the manager was sat with me!

He has already informed me if anyone threatens me in anyway I have to tell him

Nope!

Milkman, now I'm living just near Carrefour but I'm not working at the moment. My room will run out early next month but I'll be getting a new room if I take the job.

If you give them your passport and then get a 'permit to work' (which probably isn't valid), then they'll turn you into Immigration if you want to leave...

The guys that run these bars, especially the ones employing white women to do a job that Thai women can do, are well connected to the wrong people and could end up really screwing up your stay in Thailand.

I'd definitely give it a hard think before you go through with it.

Don't like the sound of this bit, why would you have to stay in your room at certain hours? Also is there the option to live out as oppossed to the room they give you?

I didn't like that either.

He said I could stay in my own room but he said it would be better for me if I lived in the same place as the Russian girls. I'll see the rooms tonight actually.

I thought that you were going to college to study journalism - sticking with that would be my 'tip'.

I wish I had done that, my dream was to be a sports journalist, sat high up above the cricket groun at Lahore or Kandy, sipping G&T and eating chocolate cake.
In fact it is still my dream, though a job with a bunch of Russian girlies wouldn't be too bad either.
