Pridi Banomyong with a rare audience with HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej

Not sure of the date, but still a rare photo. HM is still a young man, so I'm guessing this was the brief period that Pridi returned before the renewed accusations and permanent exile to England and finally France where he passed in 1983. It is a real shame, even to the point of scandalous and conspiratorial, that this great Thai statesman became the definitive scapegoat....
