There are many different types of cheese produced in Wiltshire. So there are indeed many cheeses produced.
Cheese is an uncountable noun, but "types of cheese" is countable, and each type is a cheese. Stilton is a cheese.
    Same goes for wine.

    I think.

Too early in the day for moaning mate.
is it the lack of cheese choices here that you are moaning about?

There are many different types of cheese produced in Wiltshire. ( I believe this to be correct)

So there are indeed many cheeses produced. ( i believe this is not a correct use of English)

If there is a moan it is that incorrect use on English is splattered all over the interweb, so much so that it becomes the norm.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

    OK, a cheese moan.
Saw a round of cheese marked down in Big C. French. Yay, I'll try that, says I.
Blech! Sheeps cheese. Smells of shearing shed.
Gave it to my German neighbour. Tastless old sod enjoyed it.

Noelbino forgot "peoples", which I'll argue is also correct. ^ I disagree with you VN, but too late now to google as I have class at 11:50 and need to shit, shower, shampoo, and shave.
(Next you'll be telling me my Oxford comma is wrong).

No. Words evolving take time to become "not incorrect".
It goes from wrong, to commonly made mistake, to uneducated use, to normal (but incorrect), to accepted use, to OK, to correct.
All of which should take generations.
The point in question though; cheeses, fishes, peoples, breads etc was never incorrect because we're no longer talking about an uncountable noun (for cheese and bread), but types of those uncountable nouns and types of those nouns which have their own plural or are already a plural.

    I should become a tefler.

Yes. My post did not indicate the time involved for word evolution, which, of course, will vary...

Too hot to go to the gym in the afternoon and I'm too wiped from this semester to go early in the morning. Woe is me- steak and wine to perk me up tonight and hopefully get back into a routine over the weekend.

I got to conjure up the motivation to limp to the shops and buy pain killers for my gout striken feet, while suffering from a heavy cold too. The only thing that will fit my swollen feet are my Crocs. It's cold and wet outside just for good measure.

Can't you limp to the pharmacy at the same time? The pharmacy here is owned by a nurse and she administers injections to relieve gout pain. Limited injections.

I've done the visit to A&E for injections in the past. It takes forever to be seen, so bugger that. The pain is bearable, just. Very hot left foot though!

Thai plumbing fuking disaster, 5 blokes including me have spent about 6 hours over the last few days trying to install a bathroom sink without the drain unit leaking, obviously it's too easy just to ring a qualified person up, if one exists here. The security bloke is here having a go now, Mrs brother managed to crack one sink so that was another purchase but he did install the tap, loose of course,' well they all are' Security man used to work at a plumbers though, I just realized this must have been on the gate, he's been here an hour, still leaks.
