Smile Post YOUR artwork here, cmon !!

I would love to see fellow members artwork on here , cmon don't be shy stick it up , lets all learn from each other , different techniques , different ways of looking at life , different interpretations of similar subjects .

Any media would be good , anything from a nice pencil drawing , water colour , gouache ,, pastels , coloured pencils , charcoal ,, oil paints .

Cmon ! give it a go , you never know we might uncover a new Michael Angelo

To start it off I will add one of my early attempts using just 2 brushes and one colour , just to show you don't have to spend out to take part .

I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

In the meantime here is another little quick splash and dash

Interestingly on the radio today some scientists ( I believe fro Anglia Ruskin Uni @ Cambridge ) have been spouting on about the virtues of painting your way out of depression

Right I might even open that big box of never used brushes and paints and stuff
I've had for ages and have a go myself, but then inertia might just get the better of me again .

Good stuff so far , Nigel seems to be at his best with limited colours to choose from , as he was on that trip when he found he had only taken 2 tubes of paint .

Hope everyone is honest here and just posts thier own work , rather than trying to pass off the work of more talented and creative artists , like elephants , as thier own .

Looks to be very much in the style of Sterling Edwards. BTW have you found a supply source here in Thailand.... Usually nothing but Canson papers and student grade paints.

Correct matey , infact it was done a long time ago using very cheap student paint + cheap watercolour paper .

Impressive MTD , O level , I got one of them ( but thats another story )
Anyway you obviously have a talent to share , so despite your work being back in Blighty you could sharpen up your pencil again
I'm sure you have plenty of subject matter in your area

El G ,,, unfortunately I don't live there yet my friend , but I know what you mean ,, although even in the outback in Ban Dung I found an interesting little shop packed with art gear had one or two pleasing on the eye subjects behind the counter to

Think your paintings are sensational N&J. You are modest - but you have a true gift. I have greened my favourite.

^ Quite innovative mate , would never have thought of that ,, although not much use to me as its mostly water colour nowadays for me and I would have to wash me feet more than twice a month if I used one of them

You shure got some coarse bristle brushes in that pack , nice bit of natural light sitting there to bud

Have you ever tried in any other medium ?
