I'd wager you check your mirrors before changing lanes, and that you were not taught that a signal gives you ownership of the intended destination.

^ yep. My wife gets upset. Why don't you let him/her in. My response is that there is not and was not any space in front of me for an extra car. But one has to be flexible. I'm happy to let guys out of side roads if traffic is stopped.

Don't get me started on guys who block the road because they want to cross over to the third lane direct from a junction.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

Morons that burn rubbish, leaves etc. I sent the local Fire Brigade to douse persistent fires started by some feckless spastic that lives outside the moo bahn on Saturday. Today, the dumb cnut has started burning again..

Went to Tesco Lotus today without my cotton bag. The checkout guy had a brown paper bag to put my goods in! Was happy with that, but he struggled to unfold and open the bag, so...save a tree, "mai ao tung, kap".

Individually wrapped fruit. As if the world isn't already awash in plastic do we really need to wrap each apple in its own little polystyrene net or plastic bag FFS.

Further to my moan about people that go into shock at the checkout when it dawns they're supposed to pay for stuff they wish to take home...traffic lights generally go from red (stop) to green (go), they're trained to do that and anyone driving here would know it. So my moan for today is at those who go into a flash coma when exposed to the colour green, esp at filter lights that give just a few seconds before the flashing countdown begins and with a tailback of hooters up their ass. Then seconds to go they realise it's time to take off as the convoy tries to sneak through, often resulting in a close call or prang by some driver not expecting that the guy in front might decide against risking the crossfire.

I wonder if these and the dozy shoppers are the same people.

^ They doze off/play with phones/eat lunch/read the newspaper/ et al. Anything but concentrate on the driving.
It is not necessarily Thai it is new technological times. Driving used to be an important act that deserved skill and attention. Now that attention is diverted to a smart phone to tell others what we had for breakfast!!
My ex wife used to blame automatic transmissions. Everything about driving is now done for us. Having to use a manual gearbox has a way of centering one's attention.

Yes. Though my son had a hell of a time trying to find a 2nd hand manual car. He (smart boy) insisted whatever car he bought would be manual. I taught him to drive in a manual. He has one complaint now: Of all his friends, he's the only one that can drive a manual, thus whenever they go out, he's always designated driver.

^ So, it wasn't such a 'smart' choice after all.

In a nutshell, the true measure of the generations intelligence is, can the smart ones do what virtually the whole previous generation took for granted and just did...
